Deep

Tissue

Pressure during massage that reaches the deeper tissues. This is done slowly and with intention. Never with the intention to inflict pain. That is not a good indicator for an effective treatment. Increasing pressure layer by layer with the intent to illicit a remodeling effect of fibrous fascial tissue and recalibrating the nervous system.

Myofascial

Release

Therapy

Hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
